  1. How can I open a trading account?
  2. You can visit our business office with the required account opening documents. If you have any enquiries, please contact our Customer Services Representative by email cs.pacshk@pingan.com or calling on (852) 3762 9688 or (86) 400 886 6338 divert 629 688.

  3. Can I open a trading account if I am not a Hong Kong resident?
  4. Non Hong Kong residents can open a trading account with valid identity and nationality proof, e.g. Passport.

  5. What is a valid address proof?
  6. A valid address proof refers to the statement or correspondence issued by the following entities within three months:
    ‧Government Departments;
    ‧Public Institutions;
    ‧Chartered Banks or Insurance Companies; and
    ‧Public Utilities including water, electricity, gas and telecommunication companies.

  7. What is a valid identity proof?
  8. An identity proof that is issued by the Government with photo, stated with nationality, issuing date, and yet to be met the expiry date.

  9. Are there any initial deposit requirements upon account opening?
  10. There is no initial deposit requirement.

  11. Are there any charges for the opening of a trading account?
  12. There is no charge for the opening of a trading account.

  13. What should I do if I cannot visit the business office in person for the account opening?
  14. If you cannot visit our business office in person for the account opening, please contact our Customer Services Representative by email cs.pacshk@pingan.com or calling (852) 3762 9688 or (86) 400 886 6338 divert 629 688 to enquire about the alternative arrangements.

  15. How can I change my personal particulars?
  16. You can send our Customer Services Representatives the original“Change of Client Particulars Application Form” for personal information amendment.
Trading Information
  1. How may I perform a transaction?
  2. By telephone: You can call our Dealing Representative for order placement, account enquiry and market information.
    By Internet: You can access our internet trading platform via http://stock.pingan.com.hk to check for the account balance, quote for stock prices and perform transactions online.

  3. Are there any charges for the opening of internet trading services?
  4. Opening an internet trading account is free of charge.

  5. Will clients with Internet Trading Services be provided with the Real Time Price Quotation Services?
  6. Yes, we are providing our client with 300 times “Static” price quotation services monthly, and you can subscribe for the “Streaming” price quotation services by completing the“Real Time Price Quotation Services Application Form

  7. What information is included with the Streaming Real Time Price Quotation Services?
  8. It delivers real time financial market information of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai including powerful technical chart analyst tools. Detailed A+H Share Comparison, warrant/CBBC analysis and AAStocks Financial News are also available in the system, providing a new era of watching real-time market data in a timely fashion.

  9. How long it takes for the opening of a trading account?
  10. Upon the receipt of completed account opening document set, it takes about 2-3 working days for the opening of a trading account. An Account Opening Confirmation and Internet Trading Password (if applicable) will be delivered to the client at the acceptance of account opening.

  11. How can I activate my Internet Trading Services?
  12. You can activate the Internet Trading Services in accordance with the instructions stated in the “Account Opening Confirmation” and “Password Letter”. You will be required to change the Internet Trading password upon the initial log on to the system for security purpose.

  13. What should I do if I forget my Internet Trading Services Password?
  14. You can contact our Customer Services Representatives and we will re-issue a new password as soon as possible.

  15. What should I do if my computer disconnect during order placement through Internet Trading platform?
  16. In avoidance of transaction duplication, please do not repeat the pervious order placement. Contact our Dealing Representative as soon as possible to enquire about the transaction status.

  17. Can I cancel or amend an order placed via Internet Trading Platform?
  18. Yes, or as an alternative, you can contact our Dealing Representative by phone to amend or cancel the order placed.

  19. Can I dispose the securities that purchased earlier in the same day?
  20. Yes, you can sell the securities purchased successfully in the same day.

  21. How can I transfer securities to PACSHK from other custodian institution?
  22. The custodian institution has to be a CCASS participant, and the steps are listed below:
    1. Complete the"Settlement Instruction",stating that is for inward transfer.
    2. Deliver an outward transfer instruction to the counter custodian institution
    3. Fax, Post or Email the completed " Settlement Instruction"to our Customer Services Representatives
    4. Customer service staff will contact the customers to really close the instructions and contact managed to coordinate the work of transfer deposit
    5. We will execute the transfer upon confirmation on the settlement instructions

  1. How can I deposit investment fund into my trading account?
  2. You can deposit investment fund by cash, cheque, transfer or remittance into the ICBC Sub-Account or any of the following bank accounts. Please kindly provide the bank your eight-digit trading account number as deposit reference and safe-keep the bank deposit slip.

  4. by fax or email You can complete and send us the“Withdrawal Instruction”to your registered bank account.The original copy of“Withdrawal Instruction”is required for deposits in your un-registered bank account.

  5. Do you offer third party payment services?
  6. Third party payment services are not provided.
Technical Support
When you log on the Internet Trading Platform successfully, the price quotation application will be found in the top right corner dialog and trading interface is occupied in the bottom half. Please refer to the"Operation Guidelines" for details.
  1. What should I do if I cannot access to the Internet Trading Platform?
  2. Please make sure the computer is connected to the internet.
    Please ensure that Ports 80 and 443 are activated if your computer is established with Firewall settings.
    Please contact your network administrator for support if you are accessing to the internet with Proxy settings.

  3. Why am I not being able to log on the Internet Trading Platform?
  4. Please ensure that the login Name and Password are correct
    The password letter is generated by the computer system and protected with a password, which is started with “pa” and the first 6 characters of your identification document. For example, if the HKID number is: A123456(A), the password for opening the password letter will be “paa12345”.

  5. Why are the price quotations services not provided on real time basis and delayed with 15 minutes?
  6. You will be provided with 300 times Statics Real Time Price Quotation Services monthly, it will be switched to 15 minutes delay quotation when the quota is used up.
    Please contact our Customer Services Representatives on (852) 3762 9688 if it is switched to 15 minutes delay quotation before the monthly quota is used up.

  7. I can log on the Internet Trading Platform successfully. Why does the trading interface in the bottom half fail to display?
  8. JAVA SE Runtime Environment (JRE) version 6.0 or above is required, you can download it from the following website:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
    If your computer is setup with Firewall settings, please ensure that Ports 80 and 443 are activated.
    Please contact your network administrator for support if you are accessing to the internet with Proxy settings.
